Am a huge Nebraska fan and remember this game well. The best offensive center of all time played in this game, Dave Rimmington of Nebraska. And Dave was ‘owned’ all game by Clemson’s nose guard non other than Refrigerator Perry. We could not keep this guy out of our backfield. Someone correct me but I think Perry was a true freshman starter. Rimmington was a great center but Perry was one quick SOB.
